ZD Series: Small Air and Nitrogen Boosters
Our ZD (VSD) hybrid solution combines the benefits of oil-free screw technology, drum adsorption dryers and well-known piston booster technology.
As a result, it can provide oil-free dry air or nitrogen for medium and high pressure applications such as:
· PET Industry: Blowing bottle
· Instrument air source
· Natural Nitrogen Outlet Capture
· Air source for soot blowing device
The ZD system is easy to install and use: no complex connections or foundations are required. The Z and D compressors can be used in parallel or separately, and can achieve a variety of different pressure ratios (between 25 and 40 bar), saving you time and costs in maintenance.
Four stage air compression with high efficiency intercooling improves the compression efficiency significantly. Additional energy savings can be achieved by adding variable speed drive (VSD) and energy recovery devices.

· VSD is more energy efficient
The variable speed drive makes the ZD on average 35% more efficient than a fixed-speed press. By letting the MD dryer use the heat of compression to dry, further energy saving can be achieved.
